I'm a PC power user, having built many desktop computers and servers, and used many phones and laptops in the last thirty years. After conducting extensive research for a laptop based i5, I am convinced that this relatively new offering from HP is one of the best computer purchases I've ever done.
Advantages:
Widescreen 14-inch LED display is very bright, strong optimal resolution 1366×768. Yes, it is very shiny and reflects light. This is not what I want to do an extensively Photoshop, but I have my screen for this office. This screen is good light for a laptop is a pleasure to see and use. HP is wise to push the 14 "LED as an alternative to wide-screen 15.6" and 17 "LCD seem to be more frequent today. It allows ultimately for the treatment much easier, lighter and less power consumption. Personally, I think this form factor will be much more popular in CooperationMing months.

The Asus R580 Samsung and U30 are beautiful machines and may have even slightly better price points, depending on what day it is. But I do not think they think of HP as a whole. I also have a very good reputation and the ubiquity of HP laptops in the market and the availability of accessories provided on the line. Above all, this particular HP is a nice piece of technologya nice price. I expect to be a real winner for them.
